For over a decade Carolynn Kraskouskas has been working in the health and nutrition world. Her path to wellness is as unique as her practice. Carolynn was a Division One athlete at Fordham University studying English Education when she misaligned her lower back, separating two major bones. Wheelchair-bound and suffering from incredible pain, 40+ medical professionals told her she would need Harrington Rods to walk again. Convinced there was a more positive solution, she began working with a cranial sacral therapist. She took her first steps two months later.
Due to poor diet and chronic bronchitis during this challenging time, Carolynn began to see a naturopath who helped her to get her health back on track through proper nutrition and herbal supplements. A year and a half later, Carolynn emerged a walking, healthy woman. Grateful and inspired by this practitioner, she began taking bodywork courses on her own and decided to pursue it as a career starting point.
Today Carolynn defines her practice through nervous system awareness and communication. Understanding whether or not you have a peripheral or autonomic symptons of dis-ease helps structure a health program. It will lead the therapists as well as the client to understand of what herbs and bodywork will create the most beneficial healing program
